We ordered 2 of these. We have 2 of the bigger model and had no problems with them. When we opened these up, the first box we opened had a makeshift weapon taped to the inside of the box. It was made from the blade of a box cutter and the "handle" was made from packing tape. We opened the second box and although there was nothing strange inside this box, the purifier simply didn't work. We noticed that both boxes were "Inspected by #24."



We have 3 small children who, like all children, love to play with cardboard boxes. We are horrified by the thought of us not noticing the weapon taped to the box and having one of our sons find it instead. It makes me sick to my stomach to think about it.



We attempted to contact Honeywell but no one answered their 800 number. We sent them email but have yet to hear back from them.

I reviewed tons of air purifiers before I made this purchase and I also looked at numerous reviews of this particular product. I have to say that I am absolutely pleased with the purchase. It is a bit louder than I would have liked, even on the lowest setting, but it is not unbearable. I don't sleep with it on. I put it on for about an hour or two before I go to bed and that works just fine. I haven't had any night time congestion to interrupt my sleep nor do I wake congested. I am also asthmatic and I realize that since I've been using this air purifier I have not had any wheezing during the night. I have not had any indication as yet for the filter to be cleaned as it is relatively new so I can't vouch for the permanence of the filter as yet. Nonetheless, this is a good investment thus far. It does the job. You just have to figure out how to use it best for you. Of course the price cannot be beat.

We've had the biozone 2000 for a couple of days, and it is a completely different animal than the two Whispure HEPA air purifiers in our home. It does not filter that air, but rather it appears to fundamentally affect its composition. As soon as you turn it on (it's runs almost totally silent), your nose will pick up a faint smell of ozone. And VERY fresh air coming from the vents. It's a powerful little machine: we put it in the room where the litterbox for our cats are, and it wiped out all smell in about 15 minutes. Even on its lowest speed, you can feel its effect all over our 1500 sq ft. house. The only downside is that it does leave a faint ozone trace in the air, and at high speeds a metallic odor. So, we run it on its lowest speed. But I highly recommend the biozone - it's no toy, but a serious air cleaner. Great for a pet room or any other space that has odor. But don't buy one that is too large - it can far exceed your needs. If you have 500 sq feet of need, buy the Biozone 500, not the 1000 or 2000. Our unit may be overkill for our house. But boy, does it work!

I have tried many other products - Ionic Breeze and Hepa filters, none of them worked. But my Biozone does! I smoke a lot in my bedroom, and it NEVER smells like it the next day -not a trace of ciggy smell.



And the bulbs are supposed to last about a year? Well, mine's been going strong for one year now, and no signs of "weakening" yet. These bulbs are a little tough to remove (for cleaning or replacing); at first, I worried about having to pull so hard on the bulb, but it didn't break so I guess it just takes a little getting used to.

This was worth every penny! I bought this for my boyfriend, for his smoke room and I can't smell smoke throughout the rest of the house any more. It really cleans the air good. I haven't tried cleaning it yet, but I am sure it will be a breeze.

I bought this air purifier for my sons room. He has a ferret and it gets pretty musty in his room and I thought this might help. It works great, only takes up minimal space and operates quietly. It is also very easy to clean. I like the fact that the filters are permanant and there is no need to buy additional filters. A Great Buy.

Despite being a skeptic of air purifiers because of the horrible one I owned 10 years ago, the reviews for this product (and threats from my husband to buy a more expensive one) encouraged me to give this one half a shot. It is amazing!



We have always been perturbed by the dust cloud in the sunlight at the patio doors and this filter eliminates that! The manual states that the few particles that are not caught in filter, like pet hair, are charged by the ionizing system to make them easier to vacuum (true). After six hours there was a noticeable difference in the air. After a week, I moved the filter to the bedroom and was able to tell a difference in my quality of sleep (severe allergies) and the main level had regressed from not having the filter during the night!



As for the "noise level" that a few reviewers have complained about, mine is so quiet that I can't help but wonder if theirs was defective or damaged in shipping. I feel like we are writing about different products. It is very quiet and we received comments from Christmas guests on how amazingly quiet it was! Even on high it doesn't interfere with the tv, reading, sleep, etc. I have had mine for 3 weeks and have purchased a second so I can quit moving this one at night. If mine start acting abnormal, I will update my review.

Way too loud. It says "whisper quiet" on the box but in reality it makes an electrical motor like reving sound that is anything but quiet. This reving only gets faster and louder the higher you turn the fan speed up. Also the cord is too short, it says place three feet away from the wall and thats about how long the cord is. Between the reving sound and short cord this product is junk plain and simple. Unless you are deaf, hard of hearing or live under an overpass than this product is not for you.

I hesitated for a long time before purchasing this product. I'm so glad I finally bought it! The slim tower does take up a small bit of space, but it doesn't look intrusive in my home. The variable speed options mean I can put it on low (quiet) while in the room, then put it on high when I leave for a more thorough cleaning. Oscillation makes all the difference. It moves the air around much more efficiently. So far it has tackled cooking smells and smoke with ease. The permanent filter is a big plus for me, as I can't stand hunting for replacement filters. It's not heavy or bulky at all and I have no trouble moving it from room to room, but I'm considering purchasing another unit so I can keep this one in a permanent location.
